ENTRY 003 — The Website Learns to Talk
2026.08.16A command terminal without sound is half a terminal. We wired a fully synthesized WebAudio engine — boot ticks, unit-swap chirps, a mag-stripe confirm, and a proper sawtooth alarm when someone touches the logo twice. No audio files, zero bytes downloaded; every sound is math at runtime.
- Square-wave ticks during the boot sequence (1240 Hz, 35 ms)
- Two-tone chirp on unit swap, major-sixth confirm on form submit
- Sawtooth triple-burst for RED ALERT
- Persistent mute toggle — your choice is remembered
Also shipped this week: Pilot ID cards (draw one for yourself), this very build log, and downloadable wallpapers. The Bureau is growing.
